The print and audio story was therefore produced in English and French Creole. However, with the rapid development of the RCP in Belize, it was agreed to have the audio story recorded in the indigenous languages of that country. There is now an audio of the story of “Diego Dish and Carlotta Spoon” in Spanish, Garifuna, and the Maya languages of Ketch and Mopan. The translations were done by Mr. Carmen Mendez (Spanish), Mr. E. Roy Cayetano (Garifuna) and the Julian Cho Society (Ketchi, Mopan). The original French Creole translation was done by Kennedy “Boots” Samuels of St. Lucia.
