In each RCP programme country, there have been varying levels of corporate and/or government assistance. However, there remains the need for additional support to increase visibility and awareness, to create further demand, and to inform and influence policy on ECD.

In an effort to market the RCP to a wider audience and as a platform to advocate for increased investment in early childhood development, and by extension, support concepts like the RCP, the CCSI recorded a TV panel discussion on the RCP at the start of the RCP Showcase in November 2009. The panel discussion aims to inform and influence parents/caregivers, communities, public and private sector by focusing on the RCP as a "good fit" and how it can make a difference-based on the quality of the programme that has been experimented with for years. The panelists include regional public sector representatives, government representatives, Early Childhood Development practitioners and CARICOM.

To this end, the CCSI hopes to have this discussion broadcast across the region on national television ch annels. Please contact us for further information. The RCP Panel Discussion is 49 minutes long and has space for 10 minutes of advertising. It was filmed at the Creative Production and Training Centre (CPTC) in Kingston, Jamaica, moderated by Elaine Wint and directed by Ray A. Smith.
